Bellissimo Pizza e Pasta is an Italian – styled, wood fire oven, pizzeria. Our pizzaiolo has been trained and certified by the Pizza Italian academy (PIA), and we use only the best Italian products for our pizza’s.
Here’s what we do in order to provide an excellent pizza:
1. We choose exquisite and selected materials which come directly from the neighboring country!
2. The dough is made fresh on a daily basis and “rests” for at least 24 hours, thus respecting all preparation rules!
3. From the typical, fresh, thin crusted pizza of the North, to the South’s exuberant one – with fluffy dough around and thin in the middle – there are more than 30 menu entries based on genuine Italian recipes.
4. They are perfectly baked in an Italian made, wood oven which uses exclusively beechwood at a temperature of 350 °C
With respect to the original recipes, we use pasta from Italy’s famous region of Gragnano, made with the highest quality stone ground wheat, and with a process that goes back hundreds of years. With options to cover all tastes, from vegan to gluten – free and kid -friendly options as well, we are always pleased to see our guests happy and satisfied. Regardless of what time of the day it is, a good plate of pasta is sure to fill you up with energy, in order to sustain the strong winds and the vibrant lifestyle of Mykonos!
